Background Information on Fashion Collection "Baby Don't Cry"
The reason I created this brand "Baby Don't Cry" was because my best friend had to drop out of college when she got pregnant. So it definitely took a hit on my life and hers because we were super close. She moved back home and all I remember was her crying so much; because she was scared of everything that came with motherhood. So through talking and supporting her decision to keep her baby we made plans to motivate one another, especially her to keep pushing. Even though she has a child I want her and other women to know it is possible to do the things they want to do, such as work and go to school. My friend definitely talked about that a lot when she was pregnant. So wiping the tears away from my best friends eyes I knew what I wanted to call my collection for my fashion class assignment. Understanding the struggles that college moms face even teen moms, helped bring out “Baby Don’t Cry” fashion collection. It is about the mental capability they a women has to keep pushing through tough times and unexpected (such as pregnancy).
